Senior Social Media Executive (3 -5 Years)

We are looking for an experienced social media executive for our organization.
A strong background in content creation, social media marketing, and customer/account servicing is a must. Exposure to handling global clients across industry segments would be an advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Social Media:

  • Own & drive Social Media Management for the client(s), as the SPOC on behalf of Vajra Global – Build a long-lasting relationship with the client, deliver a positive customer experience, support brand loyalty, and ensure project success.
  • Ideate, own and drive brand social media handles, creating brand awareness, driving customer engagement & thereby client success.
  • Develop engaging, creative, innovative, visually engaging social content calendars to promote a brand-focused message while engaging target audiences.
  • Copywriting of posts (creative & post caption copy), working collaboratively with the creative design team for final execution and posting; ensure overall consistency in messaging across platforms.
  • Be a social media analyst – analyze, use creativity and marketing skills to help generate reach and engagement through social media networks.
  • Active tracking of social media trends & competitor trends; keen monitoring of social media channels – draw insights & take action to accelerate brand performance across platforms.
  • Assisting with planning overall marketing strategies to help drive traffic and engagement to the website & campaigns.
  • Setting up and executing social media promotional campaigns
  • Tracking and working collaboratively with Social Media Influencers & PR Collaborators.
  • Engaging with social media users and responding to any mentions over the various channels; work collaboratively with ORM team.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of services, SLAs, SOPs, KPIs, and other relevant contractual details for compliance. Ensure adherence.
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting to the client, representing the core team at client meetings.

Content Writing:

  • Strong English language skills, both written and oral.
  • Other language skill sets (eg: Hindi, Tamil, Arabic) would be an added advantage.
  • Content writing across the board as needed – content for social media platforms, marketing campaigns, ad copies and other such relevant content deliverables.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs + Suite
  • Proficient in editing and proofreading. Eye for detail is a MUST.
  • Exposure and experience in graphic designing, video making would be an asset.
  • Exposure to Content Research & Social Media Marketing Tools

  • Liaising with various teams effectively to ensure 100% say-do ratio, on-time quality delivery & customer satisfaction.
  • Be self-motivated, driven, proactive, and entrepreneurial – display ownership and accountability – must not require constant supervision.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and mature to work with a team & internal cross-teams; willing to contribute to the overall performance of the company across work-desks.
  • Open to new learnings and show keen interest to scale up & across 360*

Educational Qualifications:

Min. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, visual/mass communications. A postgraduate degree in Marketing would be an advantage.

Certifications (Preferred):

Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Inbound Marketing, SEO, Graphic Designing basics, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
